Floris van der Poel

Consultant

My name is Floris and I am an energetic and ambitious consultant who finished his Master in Financial Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. I engaged in multiple extracurricular activities during my studies, which enabled me to develop myself theoretically, personally, and socially.

My enthusiasm for the combination of consultancy, finance, and analytics was born during my finance internship at Mars Netherlands. During this project, I was responsible for the digitization process. I recreated the existing financial reports in Power BI, which is now the only tool used by Mars Netherlands for financial reporting. During my internship, I enlarged my skill set by following multiple functional training programs in SAP and Power BI and soft-skill courses in, for instance, user-centricity.

I joined cpmview in September 2021 as a Junior Consultant. I look forward to growing into this role and expand my knowledge and experience by working on challenging cases. I thrive on working in teams on projects that help companies develop and improve their financial business processes. In the coming years, I expect to learn a lot about the intriguing world of corporate performance management, build strong relationships with my clients and colleagues, and work on my personal development along the way.
